Providing Local Businesses with support in Managing Health & Safety

Risk Assessments

PIRA provide local businesses with support towards compliance with the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations (MHSWR) 1999; Regulation 3: "Risk Assessments".

Our team of Health and Safety Practitioners are qualified and experienced in carrying out both 'General' Risk Assessments and 'Specific' Risk Assessments in compliance with the following Regulations:

  • Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992
  • Display Screen Equipment Regulations 1992
  • Control of Noise at work Regulations 2005
  • Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998
  • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002
  • Working at Height Regulations 2005 etc..
  • Regulatory reform (Fire Safety) order 2005

Risk Assessments must be both "suitable & sufficient" and carried out by a "competent" person. This means that the assessment must relate to the subsequent Regulations and be in enough detail in relation to the risk.

Do you have "suitable & sufficent" Risk Assessments and H & S Arrangements?

Are they up to date? PIRA can help.
