Both surveys are guaranteed by indemnity insurance, are undertaken with the safety of you, your workers, the public and ourselves in the highest priority. All surveys result in marked plans of the buildings, as supplied by you or professionally produced by us, clearly locating the asbestos found.

The Type 2 survey investigates all of your buildings to determine the whereabouts of your asbestos containing materials (ACM’s) without disturbing the fabric of the building or interrupting your business. It is the most widely used survey for conforming to CAWR (2002).

The Type 3 survey is used only prior to refurbishment of demolition work, as it is intrusive and destructive. By being so it can locate ALL asbestos within your buildings, even if concealed within walls, voids, ceilings and ducts. This survey must be undertaken before demolition and most refurbishments.
