Asbestos Sampling

We can undertake specific sampling of suspected asbestos materials if or when work within your buildings requires it. Often workers find suspect materials on un-surveyed buildings during their work and quick analysis of them is required to prevent wider exposure and to safeguard the works in that area.

If works disturbs previously unidentified asbestos the HSE can stop all work on that building for 14 days. Professional sampling and identification can remove the involvement of the HSE by correct identification of the product discovered.

Any materials requiring laboratory analysis will be sampled, sent to the UCAS approved laboratory and the result confirmed in writing to you usually within 4 days. To avoid this dangerous interruption to your works we strongly recommend the use of our asbestos surveying services before any works are carried out on your buildings.
